Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shifts, 13-week assignment, on-call required

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in the Endoscopy/Gastrointestinal (GI) unit, including procedures such as colon, EGD, ERCP, PEG tube placement, bronch, esophageal stent, and pain procedures
• Perform moderate sedation, ensure patient safety, and monitor throughout procedures
• Utilize EPIC charting system accurately and efficiently
• Admit and discharge patients in the perioperative area as needed
• Participate in on-call responsibilities, including up to 2 weeknights and 2 weekend days, with 45-minute callback time
• Float to other facilities within the organization when necessary and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Required Qualifications
• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Proficiency in endoscopy procedures and moderate sedation
• Experience with EPIC charting and perioperative patient management
• Ability to perform patient assessments and deliver comprehensive care

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in an endoscopy or GI department
• Ability to adapt to floating between facilities and flexible scheduling
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
