- Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to high-risk obstetric patients in a busy labor and delivery unit.
- Circulate during cesarean sections and assist during various stages of labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and monitor fetal and maternal well-being throughout shifts.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards for obstetric care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse license in California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of obstetric or labor and delivery experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for high-risk obstetric patients.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
- Previous experience circulating during cesarean deliveries.
