• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to obstetrical patients, including high-risk obstetrics, antepartum, postpartum, and intrapartum care.
• Manage a busy, high-acuity maternity unit with an average of over 300 births per month.
• Assist with scheduled and unscheduled Cesarean births, rescue cervical cerclage, and other obstetrical procedures.
• Support patient triage, outpatient procedures, and immediate newborn care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe, timely, and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Adapt to high-volume demands, including double labor assignments and a high patient throughput.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience, with 3 years preferred.
• Experience working with high-volume obstetric units (>300 births per month).
• Valid BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP certifications.
• Competency in circulating, sterile vaginal exams, and immediate newborn care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting and handle double labor assignments.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with OR circulate assignments is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in large, high-volume maternity units.
• Travel nursing experience acceptable, including first-time travelers with relevant background.
