Registered Nurse NICU
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - NICU (Level IV)
Location
- Denver, CO
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), 3 shifts per week, backfill
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill newborns, utilizing advanced equipment such as isolettes, CPAP, PIVs, and central lines
- Perform procedures including circumcisions and ROP exams
- Follow unit policies and guidelines to ensure patient safety and compliance
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality neonatal care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Colorado
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Minimum of 2 years NICU experience
- Ability to work night shifts effectively
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Peds experience when census drops
- Experience with neonatal procedures and equipment
- Bubbly, drama-free personality suited to a fast-paced unit
