Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, seasonal travel assignment, dayshift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care to medical-surgical and neuro patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Perform neuro assessments, stroke evaluations, fall risk assessments, and trach care
• Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and utilize EMR for documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Support patient and family education and engagement during stay
Required Qualifications
• Current BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Heavy med-surg background experience
• Valid RN license in the state of practice
Preferred Experience / Skills
• ACLS certification
• Neuro-specific experience and procedures
• Experience with neuro assessments and stroke protocols
