Key Responsibilities
- Assist with coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures for coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease
- Support cardiac arrhythmia procedures including permanent pacemaker placements
- Operate in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment within the cath lab department
- Prepare and maintain procedural equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and procedural protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to provide exceptional patient care during cardiac interventions
- Document procedures accurately using hospital charting systems
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab or EP technologist
- ARRT certification and fluoroscopy permit (willing to consider candidates with pending permits if application has been submitted)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work days, 10-hour shifts, no weekend requirements
- Open to first-time professionals with the necessary certifications and experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with coronary and peripheral vascular procedures
- Knowledge of epicardial and cardiac arrhythmia interventions
- Familiarity with hospital environments utilizing Epic charting system
