Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 12.5-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, travel position
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown units, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and ensuring safe patient care.
• Delegate patient care tasks appropriately to staff based on their education and experience.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and certifications.
• Supervise and direct assigned nursing personnel to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
• Valid California RN license.
• Current ACLS & BLS certifications (must be through the American Heart Association).
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience, including vent/trach experience, central line knowledge, and wound care (preferred).
• Experience working in IMC/PCU/Stepdown units.
• Must adhere to patient ratios of 1:6.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in a travel nursing role.
• Knowledge of EMR systems used in the facility.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
