Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

- Richmond, VA
Schedule / Job Type
- Night shift, full-time, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to adult patients in a Level 1 trauma and teaching hospital setting
- Utilize Epic EHR system for accurate charting and documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Float within scope to different units as needed
- Adhere to facility policies including infection control and patient safety procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience
- Valid VA or compact state RN license in hand at time of submittal
- Epic electronic health record experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Clear background with all background checks completed
- Ability to submit to fingerprinting and complete required modules during orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an academic or Level 1 trauma center
- Experience with emergency and psych patient care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
