Schedule / Job Type
• Contract, Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to adult cardiac ICU patients, including post-open-heart surgery and critical cardiac cases.
• Manage direct open-heart admissions from the OR, pressure monitoring, and Swan-Ganz catheter management.
• Monitor and care for patients with Impella devices and CRRT, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to unit protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in critical care or ICU settings.
• Active RN license in WV or a compact state, pending licenses accepted.
• Proven experience with open-heart admissions, cardiac procedures, Swan-Ganz management, and Impella monitoring.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS through the American Heart Association.
• Must have recent manager or charge nurse references (within the past 2 years).
• Ability to demonstrate compliance with travel and licensing requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Cerner EMR system.
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule, with availability for potential extended contracts.
