Job Title
• Tech - X-ray / Radiology Technician

Location
• Portland, OR

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, temporary (contract)
• Day shifts, 12-hour shifts (9:30 AM – 10:00 PM)
• 3 shifts per week, including weekends
• On-call required (minimum 1/month)
• Must be available to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Willingness to float between units and possibly to nearby facilities

Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, fluoroscopy, and O-arm imaging in a hospital setting
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in the Emergency Department (ED), Operating Room (OR), and other units as needed
• Adhere to safety and procedural protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care
• Manage charting and documentation using Epic EMR system
• Maintain equipment and ensure a sterile, organized work environment
• Float between units and facilities as required, maintaining professionalism and flexibility

Required Qualifications
• Valid Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) license in Oregon or pending license submission
• Minimum 1 year of recent radiology or X-ray tech experience in a hospital setting
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system or similar charting software
• Ability to obtain two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Reliable transportation for assignment requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with fluoroscopy and fluoro procedures
• Prior OR, ED, or trauma imaging experience
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols in a hospital environment
