Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical setting, following hospital protocols and standards.
- Float to other campuses (Bucyrus and Galion) as needed to maintain staffing levels.
- Administer medications, including medication scanning, and monitor patient progress.
- Adhere to staffing ratios and document care accurately.
- Comply with travel and time-off policies, including minimal RTO and submission of time-off requests.
- Follow safety protocols, including working in a smoke-free environment and on-call procedures if assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent, consecutive experience in Medical Surgical nursing in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Valid state RN license (pending licenses not accepted).
- Knowledge of medication scanning procedures.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Ability to float between multiple campuses.
- Willingness to work night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and participate in required modules.
- Must comply with travel and RTO policies, including no holiday time off (12/20/2025 – 1/4/2026).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Epic experience is preferred.
- Previous experience working across multiple facilities or modules recorded via HealthStream.
