Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, days shifts, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, every other holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient conditions, utilizing EMR systems such as Epic and AccuDose
- Document patient assessments and treatments accurately in accordance with regulatory standards
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning
- Float to other units/departments as needed within the hospital
Required Qualifications
- Active ND or Compact RN license
- BLS certification through AHA
- Minimum of 1 year recent medical-surgical nursing experience
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
- Experience working in a hospital with at least 200 beds and level 2 or higher trauma designation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Surgical oncology patient care experience
- Experience with telemetry monitors and advanced nursing equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, larger hospital setting
