Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 12-hour shifts, Days, 3 shifts per week, 12-week assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in a 26-bed Med/Surg unit at Tristar Horizon Medical Center
• Perform hourly purposeful rounds, bedside shift reports, and patient education using AIDET
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses utilizing Alaris IV pumps
• Document care accurately in the Meditech system
• Collaborate with charge nurses, unit secretaries, and techs to ensure seamless patient care
• Float to other MedSurg units as needed, following hospital policies

Required Qualifications
• Current RN license in Tennessee or appropriate state
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Minimum 2 years of medical surgical nursing experience
• Excellent communication, time management, and team skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a hospital setting with Alaris IV pumps and Meditech documentation system
• Demonstrated high patient engagement and low nurse turnover environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
