• Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care to surgical patients in a busy medical-surgical unit
• Maintain and monitor post-operative surgical sites, including wound care, dressing changes, and wound vac management
• Assist with procedures such as Foley catheter care, bladder irrigation, ostomy maintenance, and nasogastric tube management
• Administer TPN and blood products as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and compliance
• Perform central line care and dressing changes, and support bedside shift report to ensure smooth patient transitions
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs efficiently

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or appropriate state licensure
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a medical-surgical or post-op surgical setting
• Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short patient lengths of stay

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in post-operative surgical areas such as vascular, bariatric, urology, colorectal, or general surgery
• Experience with wound care, drains, and complex patient monitoring
