Travel, Seasonal - ER Nurse (13 Weeks) / 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a busy emergency department with a 67-bed capacity.
- Manage a patient ratio of approximately 4:1, performing various procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including supervisors, charge nurses, techs, and CNAs.
- Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation and utilization of EMR systems.
- Maintain flexibility to adapt to fluctuating acuity and census levels.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
- Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CP certification.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
- Must have Meditech knowledge.
- Candidates must wear navy scrubs, have no visible tattoos, and keep longer hair tied back.
- No gel or acrylic nails permitted.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in high-acuity emergency settings.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
- Ability to remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
