• Full-time, days, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (8:00 AM – 8:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric MRI procedures, including abdomen, pelvis, head, spine, and extremities, following established protocols.
• Prepare patients, administer contrast media, and start peripheral IVs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment, including Siemens MRI systems, and utilize PACS and EPIC systems for image management.
• Ensure compliance with facility-specific procedures, including isolation precautions and contrast administration.
• Participate in occasional float to various campus locations as required.
• Complete mandatory compliance modules during orientation.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification in MRI required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience.
• Valid license to practice in North Carolina.
• Experience with PACS, Siemens MRI systems, and EPIC electronic health records.
• Familiarity with adult acute care, ICU, ED trauma, and outpatient imaging.
• Ability to perform abdominal, pelvis, cranial, spine, and extremity MRI procedures, including contrast administration and patient positioning.
• Knowledge of gradient echo imaging, MIP, spin echo images, surface coils, and both T1/T2 weighted images.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience performing MRI examinations on pediatric patients.
• Experience in abdominal MRV, head/neck MRA, and spine trauma imaging.
• Ability to pass a short EKG exam during compliance testing.
