- Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care primarily on a Medical Surgical unit, with occasional float to various Med-Surg specialties including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and Emergency Department
- Work night shifts with every other weekend required, no call duties involved
- Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR, including maintaining accurate documentation and charting
- Assess and monitor patients' telemetry and step-down needs, ensuring timely recognition of changes in condition
- Follow established protocols to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum of 3 years recent/current Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing experience
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting Telemetry data, with competency testing on day one
- Epic EMR experience, with no options for refresher or sit-1:1 training
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a comprehensive Medical Surgical setting with floating experience across units
- Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments and prioritize patient needs effectively
