• Full-time, temporary, 3x12-hour shifts, Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy Level I Trauma Center’s Operating Room, supporting a variety of surgical specialties including trauma, transplant, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics.
• Assist during surgical procedures as a scrub nurse and circulating nurse, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Work on a schedule that includes up to one weekend shift every 4 weeks and at least one holiday shift during peak seasons.
• Participate in on-call rotations, with up to four call shifts every 4 weeks, providing emergency response when needed.
• Float within scope to support other units or facilities as assigned, maintaining flexibility and team collaboration.
• Comply with local, state, and hospital policies, including licensing, certification, and hospital-specific protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience strongly preferred. Open to first-time travelers who meet qualifications.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency).
• Trauma Level I experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to scrub and circulate in various surgical procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous scrub experience in a high-volume, Level I trauma setting.
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting and hospital technology.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a multidisciplinary team.
