Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.
• Support patients and their families through education and emotional support.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Nursys License and current certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work night shifts and adjust to hospital schedule.
• Clear background with work history/resume showing no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Skills checklist, references, and certification card required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in orthopedic surgery or related specialties.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic health records systems.
