Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit for adult patients.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform treatments including insulin drips, cardiac drips, and post-cardiac cath care.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Utilize electronic medical records system (Epic) for documentation.
• Float to appropriate units as needed to support staffing needs.
• Work as part of a resource float team, maintaining flexibility across units.

Required Qualifications
• Valid NY registered nurse license or proof of application with applied date.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical telemetry or PCU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from AHA.
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record (within the past 2 years).
• Ability to work every other weekend and participate in holiday coverage as needed (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s).
• Reliable transportation, personal or rental vehicle recommended; vehicle should be equipped for winter conditions (all-season or snow tires) during November–April.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Experience managing insulin, cardiac, or other drips.
• Knowledge of acute inpatient progressive care telemonitoring.
