Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in Intensive Care Units, including ICU and CCU settings.
• Monitor and interpret complex patient data such as dysrhythmias, ABGs, and hemodynamic parameters.
• Administer medications including IV infusions, sedation, neuromuscular blockade, and vasoactive drugs.
• Manage ventilated patients, including ventilator settings, ABG interpretation, and airway management.
• Perform procedures such as chest tube management, wound care, arterial line management, and phlebotomy.
• Ensure infection control practices and PPE protocols are followed to prevent cross-contamination.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Nursing license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• 3 years of ICU/CCU nursing experience.
• Certifications in CPIMAB or VIPN and NIHSS.
• Proven skills in FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and ventilator care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with trauma, acute stroke, or hypothermia protocols.
• Ability to float to other units such as DOU, Telemetry, or Medical Telemetry.
• Strong knowledge of IV insulin protocols, blood product administration, and emergency medications.
• Familiarity with high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive ventilation management.
