Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult patients with chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, ESRD, and medical-surgical conditions
- Monitor and assess patient health status, administer medications, and document care using Epic electronic health records
- Perform EKG exams as required, with support to pass the Pass/Fail competency assessment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all hospital and regulatory requirements, including background checks and education verification
- Float to different hospital campuses as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient telemetry and renal care experience
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing and telemetry monitoring
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
- BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting with Chronic Kidney Disease, ESRD, or Acute Kidney Injury patients
- Telemetry experience required
- Knowledge of Pass/Fail EKG exam process and preparation
