Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location
• Albuquerque, NM

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in the operating room, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs during each shift
• Coordinate patient care collaboratively with the healthcare team and patient's family
• Ensure adherence to protocols and standards of care, administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly
• Supervise and guide Licensed Practical Nurses and assistive personnel when applicable
• Meet patient and family education and discharge needs throughout the episode of care

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of New Mexico or a Compact State
• Minimum two (2) years of current experience in a large operating room setting
• Ability to scrub in surgical procedures
• BLS certification (ACLS and PALS preferred)
• Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in orthopedics, ENT, or vascular surgery a plus
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system (training available)
• Flexibility and team-oriented mindset in fast-paced environments
