Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Rock Springs, WY

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shifts (12-hour shifts, 3 days per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients, demonstrating respect, safety, confidentiality, and cooperation with staff and patients.
• Assist with a variety of procedures utilizing ER equipment such as T-system EMR, Pyxis medication systems, and Telestroke technology.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital and departmental protocols.
• Collaborate with a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal care delivery.
• Respond to emergency situations swiftly and appropriately, providing critical support as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience in an emergency or acute care setting.
• Current Wyoming or compact state RN license.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• TNCC certification is a plus.
• Experience working in a 22-bed emergency department or similar fast-paced environment.
