Key Responsibilities

• Operate in a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) environment, supporting cardiac and general surgeries.
• Work across multiple surgical areas, including cardiac and general procedures.
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operations during procedures.
• Provide skilled assistance under the supervision of surgical staff during various operative procedures, including open-heart surgeries.
• Be adaptable to shift rotations and carry out additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting).
• Valid certification in cardiovascular operating room technology.
• Must have open heart surgery experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-area surgical environment.
• Must be separated from the sponsoring hospital (BILH) for at least 6 months (per diem, contract, or permanent positions).
• Flu vaccine required prior to start (declinations not accepted).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a cardiac surgery setting.
• Flexibility to rotate between day and evening shifts as needed.
• Familiarity with surgical assistive roles in general and specialized surgeries.
