• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any abnormal findings to the charge nurse and physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Assist with patient assessments, interventions, and education to promote patient well-being.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations, initiating resuscitation measures when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as an LVN or LPN.
• Current BLS level CPR certification.
• Good physical health and stamina to perform nursing duties, including walking, bending, lifting, and manual skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Dependable with reliable attendance and good mental health.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Willingness to work night shifts and beyond normal hours if needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Knowledge of medication administration, IV starts, EKGs, and blood draws.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
