- Rotating shifts, 3x12 hours, nights and days
Key Responsibilities
- Provide adult respiratory therapy in an acute hospital setting, including NIV, high flow, nebulizers, CPT, nitric oxide, and Flolan nebulizers.
- Operate ventilators such as Draeger vents, Servo-I, 3100A/B, and jet ventilators in NICU.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, covering ICU, PICU, NICU, and other units as assigned.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patients' respiratory care plans.
- Participate in weekend coverage and work major holidays as scheduled.
- Adhere to facility protocols and maintain accurate documentation in Epic.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid state license (pending license accepted, takes approximately 10-12 weeks).
- BLS, CRT, and NRBC certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care and trauma experience.
- Proven experience with various RT therapies and ventilators.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level II trauma hospital or similar facility.
- Prior experience with Epic charting systems.
- Ability to float within scope to different units.
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
