Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, contract, night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, following facility protocols and standards.
• Monitor critically ill patients, administer medications, and perform assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient statuses accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to safety and compliance regulations, including ICU certifications.
• Participate in on-call rotations and work during major holidays as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Certificates: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale (preferred)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and flexible with floating between units if necessary.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and major holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic charting system.
• Prior ICU float experience within hospital settings.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
