Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Days shift, 4 shifts per week, 9 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a radiology/IR (interventional radiology) setting, supporting procedures such as catheterizations, biopsies, and drainages
- Scrub, circulate, and assist during all types of IR and Cath lab cases
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary medical teams and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system and on-call duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a radiology or interventional radiology setting
- IR lab experience, including scrubbing and circulating
- Valid RN license in the state of Texas
- Ability to work on-call and perform effectively under pressure
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with CT, ultrasound, and IR procedures such as biopsies and drainages
- Comfortable working with specialized imaging and procedural equipment
