Key Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans under the supervision of senior staff.
• Collaborate with nursing, dosimetry, clerical staff, and physicians to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Operate radiation therapy equipment and ensure accurate delivery of treatments, including SRS and SBRT procedures.
• Document treatment data accurately using EPIC or similar charting systems.
• Provide coverage in an outpatient Cancer Center Radiation Therapy department and float as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current California State License in Therapeutic Radiologic Technology
• Current CPR Certification
• Registered A.R.R.T Radiation Therapist credential
• EPIC charting experience
• Prior clinical experience with Varian Radiation Therapy equipment and software
• Experience in treating SRS and SBRT procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in outpatient Cancer Centers
• Additional experience with advanced radiation treatment techniques and technologies
