Key Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures as a certified surgical technologist, ensuring proper setup and sterilization of instruments.
• Maintain a sterile environment to support surgical teams and optimize patient safety.
• Prepare operating rooms and assist with patient positioning as needed.
• Manage surgical supplies and inventory, ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
• Follow all safety protocols and hospital policies to ensure smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Minimum of 2 years of scrub experience in a surgical setting.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical equipment.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in cardiovascular or CVOR surgical units.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Prior travel or temporary placement experience preferred.
