  • Full-time, Night shifts (12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and manage advanced medical equipment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Respond promptly to patient emergencies and provide life-saving interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.
  • Document patient care accurately using electronic health records.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid California RN license.
  • Minimum of 2 years' ICU experience in a high-acuity environment.
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, LA Fire Card.
  • Ability to float between ICU and overflow PCU units.
  • Must disclose license verification and background checks upfront.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma and Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center.
  • Prior experience with neuro, cardiovascular, trauma, or surgical patient populations.
  • Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system.

Additional Details

  • This position requires working three out of five major holidays.
  • Locals are encouraged to apply; candidates within 50 miles are considered local.
  • Travel compliance documentation including SSN, DOB, and references is required.
  • No on-call required; however, flexibility to float within ICU and overflow units is necessary.
  • Free parking available on-site.
