- Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive ICU nursing care to high-acuity neuro, cardiovascular, trauma, and stroke patients.
- Monitor and manage patients requiring specialized procedures such as thrombectomy, CABG, valve surgeries, IABP, CRRT, and sepsis management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level 2 Trauma and Stroke Center environment, supporting overflow units including PCU and ICU overflow.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health records (Epic).
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including safety, infection control, and patient advocacy.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, Neuro experience strongly preferred
- Current ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification, and LA Fire Card
- Ability to work night shifts with 12-hour shifts, weekends off
- Must be vaccinated and comply with hospital policies, including background checks and license verification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Magnet-designated acute care hospital
- Familiarity with high-acuity neuro, stroke, and trauma patient care
- Ability to float between ICU and overflow units as needed
