• Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care for a wide range of surgical and trauma patients, including post-operative and inpatient medical-surgical cases.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including rhythm management and use of Rapid Response Teams.
• Administer blood products and manage central and peripheral lines.
• Care for surgical drains, non-invasive airway devices, and implement isolation precautions.
• Perform wound care, including wound vac management, and use standard hospital systems such as Pyxis and EPIC.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes and safety.

Required Qualifications
• Valid NC or Compact State RN license in hand at start.
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical unit experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response teams, and line management.
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Familiarity with chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac).
• Knowledge of wound vacs, chest tubes, NG tubes, and other surgical equipment.

Additional Details
• Shift: 12-hour nights, four shifts per week.
• Contract durations available from 13 to 26 weeks, with flexible hours.
• RTO (Requested Time Off): Max of 7 days, no RTO during orientation or first week.
• Float requirements as needed within the hospital and nearby facilities.
• Must complete required modules prior to start.
• Willingness to work during catastrophic events or disasters is expected.
• Candidate must pass EKG testing prior to starting.
• No call-offs after booking; RTO or additional leave may lead to contract cancellation.
• Must be comfortable with floating across units based on census and skills.
• Travel compliance: Candidate must be able to attend lab testing within 48 hours of signing.
