Job Title
• Therapist - Occupational Therapist

• Highlands, NC

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, travel assignment, days shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to hospitalized patients.
• Focus on rehab-focused care, assessing patient needs and developing treatment plans.
• Document patient progress accurately using the Cerner system.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to adjacent facilities if needed, maintaining flexibility in scheduling and location.
• Contribute to a dynamic rehab team in a multidisciplinary environment.

Required Qualifications
• Valid and active state OT license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based occupational therapy experience.
• Ability to evaluate and treat patients with a rehab-focused approach.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a critical access hospital setting.
• Comfortable providing therapy outdoors and in new therapeutic environments.
