Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, or Stepdown units, float as needed across related departments.
• Float within units of comparable or lower acuity levels, potentially including additional campuses.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, perform IV starts, and provide telephonic patient support.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital protocols during night shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid compact or state license in Ohio at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown or related units.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with IV starts and telephonic patient care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior float pool experience across multiple units.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexible adaptability.
• Experience with credentialing and compliance procedures, including fingerprinting.

Additional Details

• All candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting as soon as they sign the contract to meet strict compliance deadlines.
• Candidates outside Ohio within driving distance are required to drive for fingerprinting; those farther away will receive a fingerprinting packet.
• RTO required with submission and must be built into the contract.
• Two professional references are required, including at least one from a supervisor or leader.
• Candidates should be prepared for the urgency of credentialing process and responsiveness is critical.
