Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including respiratory, diabetic, surgical, psychiatric, and end-of-life care needs.
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform ECG exams as required.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to facility policies, including compliance and pass/fail EKG testing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care or medical-surgical/telemetry experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass an EKG exam during onboarding (up to two attempts).
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred.
• Must be flexible to float across all Cone Health facilities as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience.
• Experience with respiratory conditions, diabetic or surgical patients, psychiatric observation, and hospice/end-of-life care.
• Knowledge of medical-surgical and telemetry protocols.
