Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shift / 12-hour shifts / Full-time

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients during night shifts.
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret and manage dysrhythmias, and utilize rapid response teams when necessary.
• Administer medications, including oxygen therapy and airway management, following established protocols.
• Follow isolation precautions and maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Assist with patient assessments, diagnostics, and coordination of care for a diverse patient population including respiratory, surgical, and palliative care patients.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, including compliance documentation and pass/fail EKG testing.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience.
• BLS certification required.
• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias and respond to rapid response calls.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous charge nurse experience.
• Experience caring for patients with respiratory issues, diabetic patients, and surgical patients.
• Familiarity with peripheral line care, various oxygen delivery methods, and infection control precautions.
