Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including dysrhythmias management.
- Titrate IV drips and manage peripheral lines and PICC lines.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality care, adhering to unit protocols.
- Perform assessments and document patient status in compliance with facility policies.
- Float to other Cone Health campuses as needed and maintain flexible, team-oriented approach.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a PCU or stepdown setting.
- Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and titration of drips.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
- Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam prior to start.
- EPIC EHR system experience required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a tertiary care or hospital setting.
- Familiarity with unit-based modules and shift-specific workflows.
- Ability to work nights and handle floating to various campuses.
