Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound and sonography procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
- Accurately operate ultrasound equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal structures.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of imaging results.
- Assist with any additional duties related to patient care within the Radiology department.
Required Qualifications
- Valid ultrasound/sonography license or certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound machines and related imaging equipment.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and imaging techniques.
- Ability to follow safety and infection control protocols.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a radiology department.
- Familiarity with pediatric and senior patient populations.
- Experience with hospital electronic medical record systems.
