Key Responsibilities
- Provide interim leadership and management of the Emergency Department during the transition period
- Oversee daily operations ensuring quality patient care and staff coordination
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to maintain department standards
- Support and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Emergency Department Director or similar ER leadership role
- Current licensed Registered Nurse with significant ER experience (minimum of 5 years)
- At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in an interim or temporary leadership role in a healthcare environment
- Ability to obtain an Alaska nursing license (expected completion time 10-14 weeks)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
