• Full-time, contract, night shift (3x12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult ICU patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurological needs.
• Monitor and manage patients requiring close observation, advanced monitoring, or life-sustaining treatment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including RNs, hospitalists, and respiratory therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to all hospital and unit protocols, including compliance with special certifications and education requirements.
• Floating to other units may be requested based on the hospital’s needs.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Virginia or valid multi-state compact license.
• Epic charting experience, specifically within acute care settings.
• NIH and stroke education completed, as required for Riverside Health hospitals.
• At least one supervisory reference available for submission.
• Compliance with Tier 2 travel requirements and required certifications/licenses.
• SSN in hand at the time of application.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent ICU experience within the last year.
• Prior experience working in high-acuity, complex patient environments.
• Ability to float between units if needed.
