Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location
- Newport, VT
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, dayshift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to women during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal periods
- Assist with baby care and support new mothers and families
- Float to other units as needed, including overflow coverage for the Progressive Care Unit
- Adhere to hospital policies and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Vermont or appropriate state licensure
- Experience in labor and delivery or postpartum nursing preferred
- Ability to float between units as required
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
- Certifications such as BLS, NRP, or ACLS
