Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Nights (7pm - 7am), on a rotating schedule with every other weekend requirement and no more than one on-call shift per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and manage fetal monitoring equipment.
- Administer medications and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe delivery practices.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Participate in on-call rotations and assist during deliveries and emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid nursing license in Kansas.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of hire.
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification within one year of employment.
- PALS certification within six months of employment.
- Willingness to relocate (relocation assistance offered).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous labor and delivery nursing experience is a plus.
- Strong fetal monitoring skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
