Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients on a busy adult medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient acuity, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including CNAs and other nursing staff, to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, antibiotics, and perform procedures such as tube feeds and peg feedings.
• Follow hospital policies and unit guidelines, including attending huddles and clocking in/out for shifts and breaks.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or med-surg units.
• Ability to assess patient conditions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, time management, and reliable attendance.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification is a plus.
• Experience with telemetry rhythm analysis and acute care procedures.
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist colleagues and patients.
