- Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts, Days, Weekends only (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality orthopedic nursing care in a 38-bed acute care unit.
- Float within scope to other Medical Surgical departments as needed.
- Manage IV therapies, including PICC line management and starting IVs.
- Utilize Cerner charting system efficiently.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain patient safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license in hand.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Willingness to float within hospital and to affiliate facilities.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Telemetry experience preferred.
- IV therapy and Phlebotomy skills needed.
- Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
