Key Responsibilities

• Assist oncology patients currently receiving treatment by coordinating and managing their care plans.
• Serve as a point of contact for patients, providing education, support, and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient interactions and care plans using electronic medical records (EPIC).
• Adhere to all regulatory and organizational standards, including ONCC/ONS certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• RN license with a minimum of 3 years of oncology experience (2 years screened accepted).
• Certification in Oncology Nursing (ONCC/ONS) required.
• Ability to work at a new, state-of-the-art Cancer Center adjacent to Mission Hospital.
• Willingness to sign for a 26-week assignment.
• Must be local or travel-ready; out-of-state applicants welcome.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience as a Nurse Navigator or in a similar outpatient oncology setting.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Strong communication and patient management skills.
