Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes.

• Perform bedside diagnostic procedures as needed.

• Review and maintain respiratory care plans for assigned patients.

• Conduct patient evaluations and adjust care plans appropriately based on findings.

• Assist as a preceptor for students and new hires within the department.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.

• Must hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC.

• Must possess a current Indiana State License for Respiratory Care Practitioners.

• Must have current CPR certification.

• Must have or obtain ACLS and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire or transfer.

• Must be able to participate in on-call rotation and lift up to 30 pounds.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification is preferred but not required.

• Stable certification is preferred but not required.
