Job Title
• Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Location
• Columbia, SC

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, following unit protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to other Prisma Health units or campuses as needed, performing tasks aligned with demonstrated competencies.
• Complete required pre-assignment testing and modules within specified timeframes.

Required Qualifications
• Current South Carolina RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience with EPIC EMR.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a flexible schedule.
• Must be willing to float to various units as needed, performing tasks for which competencies have been demonstrated.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to floating policies and maintain high-quality patient care standards.
