Full-Time, Permanent, Onsite | Monday–Friday, Day Shift (hours vary based on patient load)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver external beam radiation therapy patient treatments using TrueBeam and Radixact/Tomotherapy treatment machines, including helical and tomodirect photon treatments
• Operate and maintain proficiency on Accuray Tomotherapy, Radixact, and Varian TrueBeam radiation oncology treatment machines
• Utilize Mosaiq record and verify treatment record system to document and manage patient treatment records
• Perform CT simulation scans independently using a GE CT scanner as needed
• Collaborate with a second therapist during all patient treatments on treatment machines, adhering to departmental safety protocols
• Participate in a brief shadowing-based orientation to become familiar with department-specific workflows and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in external beam radiation therapy patient treatment delivery on Varian 21EX and/or Accuray Tomotherapy treatment machines
• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy
• Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) licensure
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hands-on experience with Radixact and/or TrueBeam treatment platforms
• Familiarity with Mosaiq record and verify systems
• Experience performing CT simulation scans in a radiation oncology setting
